WTRRP  drop-in centre in central Watford

Please note that since April the  drop-in has moved from St John’s Church to St John’s Church Hall. The new location is in Estcourt Road, WD17 2PS (opposite the junction with Gartlet Road). Access to the Drop In is via the door to the right of the main doors.

StJ church with inset signOn Tuesdays and Fridays between 11:00am and 1:00pm, the Project is running a drop-in centre at St John’s Church Hall, Estcourt rd, Watford, WD17 2PS.

We provide advice and material help to refugees and asylum-seekers – both on the spot, and then on a continuing basis if we are able – depending on need.

Free ESOL classes are available at some of our drop-in sessions (run by Andrea and Marie-Jo). Also a firm of solicitors who have first class experience of dealing with immigration issues, are available to give legal advice on the occasional Tuesday. There are regular bulletins too in our regular newsletters on the drop-in centre which continues to accomplish much since it opened its doors in 2013.  Our newsletters can be downloaded from the news page on this website.

The Drop-In- Centre could not function without our team of committed volunteers; and we are always looking for more help.

SignIf you know anyone in the area who is a refugee or asylum-seeker, then please bring them along and we’ll do our best to help.

We can refer you to legal advice and to specialist help, or find you help with food and housing, or just have a chat over coffee.
